Yellow Breeches Creek

Water Temp and Condition: High-30s; High but fishable

Best Time to Fish: All Day (best section: Catch & Release)

Fish Species: Wild and Stocked Browns, Stocked Rainbows

Flies: Weighted Streamers, Small Midges, Generic Nymphs

Tips: Swing streamers through deeper runs, use weight to get nymphs down in the water column. Fish stockings will begin soon for those looking to target stocked fish.

Big Spring Creek

Water Temp and Condition: Mid-40s

Best Time to Fish: All Day

Fish Species: Wild Rainbows, Brook Trout, Brown Trout

Flies: Tiny Midges, Scuds, Generic Nymphs, Small Streamers

Tips: Be very stealthy and approach the stream slowly. Focus your efforts on riffles and runs and other likely feeding lanes.

Water Temp and Condition: Low-40s; High and fishable

Best Time to Fish: Mid-Day

Fish Species: Wild Browns

Flies: Weighted Streamers, Midges, Scuds, Nymphs

Tips: Swing streamers through deeper runs, use weight to get nymphs down in the water column.  Look for rising fish on warmer days.

Best Time to Fish: All Day

Fish Species: Wild Browns, Wild and Stocked Rainbows

Flies: Weighted Streamers, Midges, Little Black Stoneflies

Tips: Swing streamers through deeper runs, use weight to get nymphs down in the water column.  Stoneflies should be making an appearance.
